Lohri is North India's most joyful winter festival — and Chandigarh Tricity celebrates it with great enthusiasm. Here are the best Lohri decoration ideas for 2025, for homes, offices and society events in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.
Traditional bonfire backdrop: A printed or fabric backdrop with a Lohri bonfire illustration makes a perfect photo spot — without any real fire indoors. Mustard yellow and orange balloon clusters on either side complete the look.
Dhol and folk art elements: Paper dhol cutouts, traditional Punjabi phulkari patterns on the backdrop, clay pot centrepieces with marigolds.
Popcorn and rewri display: A beautiful arrangement of the traditional Lohri offerings — popcorn, rewri, gajak and peanuts — in decorative clay bowls around the photo spot doubles as both decoration and a serving display.
Society Lohri events in Chandigarh and Panchkula are usually held in the common area or community hall. A stage backdrop with a Lohri theme, balloon columns in mustard and orange, a welcome gate at the entrance and a dedicated photo wall are the key elements.
We also set up a large "Lohri Fire" prop — a safe, illuminated bonfire display that makes for stunning photos without any fire hazard. Very popular in housing societies in Panchkula Sectors 10, 15 and 20 and Mohali Phases 7 and 11.
For offices, Lohri decoration should be festive but compact. Key elements: a Lohri-themed photo wall in the common area or cafeteria — mustard and orange balloon clusters at the entrance — traditional folk art prints or digital display at the reception — a small rewri and gajak display for employees.
We offer quick Lohri office decoration setups (2–3 hours) that can be installed before office hours across all Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali business areas.
Baby's first Lohri is a special milestone. A sweet setup that combines Lohri colours (mustard, orange) with soft pastel baby elements (pink, mint or blue) creates a memorable celebration.
Key elements: a "My First Lohri" banner — a small bonfire backdrop with the baby's name — mustard and pink (or blue) balloon mix — a flower wreath around the baby's photo — marigold garland accents.
First Lohri decoration packages start from ₹1,499 across all Tricity areas.
